Chatfield baseball rallied from down 9-4 to beat Southland 10-9, sweeping a double-header. The Gophers also beat W-K to go 3-1 on the week. Zach Roline had 10 RBI over the three wins. The Gophers (7-8, 9-9) are 1AA East’s 5-seed and play at 4-seed L-A (11-8). Section 1A baseball seeding: 6-seed Houston (2-12, 2-16) at 3-seed R-P (3-10-1, 7-11-1), 7-seed M-C (0-13, 1-15) at 2-seed SG (12-6). Lydia Voeltz hit a home run, but GMLOK softball fell to #5 in A Randolph. Section 1AA West softball seeding; 6-seed GMLOK (8-4, 11-7) at 3-seed Byron (11-7). Section 1A East seeding; 5-seed R-P (2-14, 5-14) at 4-seed FC/L (4-12, 5-14), 6-seed Houston (5-7, 6-13) at 3-seed Goodhue (8-7). Kingsland’s Wyatt Pruter (37), FC’s Madison Scheevel (38), and LARP guys Zach Anderson (38, 39) and Jacob Anderson (38) all golfed sub-40 rounds. LARP’s guys are 7-1, 10-1. Emma Breitspecher and J.T. Rein swept boys and girls hurdle events at the SEC Meet, which each Burro team won. Breitsprecher had four total firsts.
