Dustin Copley’s third game-winning-RBI of the year (versus Schaeffer) helped GMLOK baseball to a 4-0 week. Winners of seven straight, the Bulldogs (12-0, 15-2) lead Randolph (10-1, 13-1) in the SEC. Lexi Chase pitched two wins over St. Charles (8-5, 11-6), as also first place #8 in AA Chatfield softball (9-2, 12-4) expanded its West division lead. R-P’s Carter Weidemann (3), Houston’s Jaytin Millen, M-C’s Jordyn Newgard, Chatfield’s Peyton Berg, GMLOK’s Zoe Scrabeck (2) and Kylie Fenton-Musel hit home runs. Fenton-Musel’s was a grand slam. She had two 4 RBI games. Krista Jorgenson gave up one run over nine innings as FC/L softball beat Goodhue 2-1. Lanesboro boys golf handed Kingsland its first loss 187 to 189. Knight Wyatt Pruter was medalist (38). LARP’s boys golf went 3-0, beating Kingsland 180 to 208, avenging a lone loss to La Crescent 173 to 180. Luke Rye’s guys are 5-1, 7-1. Chatfield’s boys 4×200 (J. Baker, B. Muller, J. Tuohy, C. Backer), RPH’s Triton Meldahl (110/300-hurdles), Kaleah Davis (Shot), Allison Papenfuss (200), and Brady Gile (T-Jump) were champions at the TRC meet.
