Three individual volleyball milestones were reached on the week. Addison Drinkall had 37 digs including the 1,000th of her career but R-P fell to L-A in four sets. Kenley Snyder added 25 digs for the Trojans. At the Class A Showcase, Fillmore Central’s Josie Corson recorded her 1,000th career dig and the Falcons took fourth place overall. At the same tourney, Spring Grove’s Claire Sherburne recorded her 1,000th assist. Caledonia volleyball, ranked #7 in Class AA, topped Chatfield in four sets. Ashlyn Reinhart (18 kills, 21 digs), Avery Augedahl (49 assists), and Paizley Lange (20 digs) led the victors. Cora Bicknese (18 kills, 41 digs) led the defeated. The Warriors are 3-2 in the TRC, 9-3 overall. Vanessa Lewis had 30 assists as L-O topped G-E 3-0. Rylee Holst had 20 digs but GM fell to Southland 3-0. Bella Rodriguez had 24 and 20 digs but Houston fell to GM 3-0 and La Crescent/Hokah 3-0. Carson Johnson had 128 yards rushing on just six carries with three TDs, and Ayden Garrett hit 8 of 8 PATs, as R-P, ranked #10 in Class AA, topped Randolph 56-14 for the Trojans third straight win. R-P (2-1, 3-1), Chatfield (2-1, 3-1) and Lourdes (2-1, 2-2) trail Caledonia (4-0, 4-0) in the Southeast-Yellow. Quinci Kaase (7-113, 2 TDs) and Grant Daniels (19-136, TD) each topped 100 yards rushing as FC topped USC 35-0. The Falcons (1-1, 4-1 overall) head to their bye week tied with NRHEG (1-1, 3-1) in second place behind Southland (3-0, 4-1) in the Mid-South Green. Ethan Rask was 9 of 9 on PATs and Dylan Halverson accounted for five total TDs (four rushing) as Spring Grove beat W-K 63-6. The Lions (3-1, 3-1), Lanesboro (3-1, 3-1), and L-O/L/P trail AC/G-E (4-0, 4-0) atop the South-East. Kale Eiken (25-186, 3 TDs) and Carter Hershberger (18-138, TD) combined for over 300 yards rushing and four scores as M-C (2-2, 2-2) topped Faribault B.A. 44-8.
