Parker Armagost (152 yards) and Carter Glynn (134) yards, each topped 100 yards rushing with a score for the Larks. D’Andre Williams ran for 189 with three total touchdowns (all in the first quarter), as #3 in AA Chatfield beat Cannon Falls 24-6. The Gophers (2-0, 3-0) and Triton (2-0, 2-1) top the Southeast-Yellow standings. Fillmore Central got 100-yard rushing efforts from Quinci Kaase (133 yards) and Kane Larson (104 yards) in beating Blooming Prairie 43-7. The #4 in A Falcons (1-0, 3-0)) lead the Mid-South Green with USC (1-0, 2-1). Jaxson Meldahl ran for 143 yards and a score but R-P lost late to St. Charles 14-6. Claire Sherburne had 36 assists as Spring Grove swept Houston 3-0. Mabel-Canton (5-0, 15-1), ranked #4 in Class A, leads the SEC-East over the Lions (4-2, 4-2). Lanesboro volleyball (3-3, 6-4) went 3-1 overall but won the Wabasha-Kellogg Tourney, topping Goodhue 2-1 in the finals. Harper Goldsmith had 31 assists, Hannah Tweten 22 digs, as #3 in AA Chatfield beat Pine Island 3-0. Addison Drinkall had 21 digs, as Rushford-Peterson avenged a tourney loss, sweeping W-K.
