At the St. Mary’s Early Bird track and field invite, RP/H’s Aubry Boldt set the program Long Jump record (17’9 ½”), breaking her own tie with Ashley Agrimson (17’8”), while also tying Danielle Lesser-Luhman’s program-best Triple Jump mark (36’3 ½”).  At the MSU Indoor Showcase, LFCMC’s Brody Niemeyer set the LFCMC program Shot Put record with a throw of 52’1”.  The former record had been held since 1979.  Parker Johnson hit a grand slam and drove in six total runs, Mason Janssen had five RBI, and Jackson Soltau scored five times as GMLOK baseball beat AC/G-E 26-7.  Ben Udstuen and Kolton Nerstad combined for a five-inning no-hitter as SG baseball (1-0, 1-0) topped Schaeffer 22-0.   Udstuen and Gabe Klug each had four RBI’s.  Morgan Rohweder and Hector Steinfeldt combined for a seven-inning shut-out as Houston (1-0, 1-0) topped M-C 3-0. Aspen Kolling collected two pitching wins a GMLOK softball (1-0, 2-0) topped BP 5-0 and AC/G-E 9-1.  In the latter, Kolling tossed a one-hitter (with nine walks) and Candace Hanson had four RBIs.  Houston’s Emily Botcher struck out 29 total batters in 14-2 and 6-0 wins over Triton and M-C.  Hurricane Claire Frauenkron hit a homer run versus the Cobras.  Cougar Tylar Wenthold struck out 15 in the loss to Houston.   Seventh-grader Claire Sherburne pitched a five-inning, 12-strikeout one-hitter as SG (1-0, 1-0) topped SA 13-1.
