Spring Grove beat Decorah 62-51 for the Lions’ 12th straight win. Via a SG loss to Lanesboro, GM (10-2, 19-2) leads SG (9-2, 17-4) in the SEC. R-P’s girls hit 17 threes in beating Kingsland 73-15. Jensyn Storhoff went for 20 (pts), 5 (rebs), 8 (asts), and 7 (stls) as Lanesboro beat St. Charles 64-39, the Burros’ sixth straight win. Amaya Harmening had 21 (pts) and 17 (rebs) as Chatfield beat Randolph 75-62. Aubrey Daniels hit 12 of 13 free throws, scored 18 points, as FC’s girls beat Faribault B.A. FC (6-6, 13-11) also beat Kingsland 63-34, their fifth win in seven tries. Benita Nolt scored 36 points but L-O lost to UCS 83-56. Carson Harstad scored 22 points and Masyn Kreter hit the game-winning free throw in the final seconds as Chatfield beat W-K 63-62. Harstad scored 33 but the Gophers fell to #2 in AAA Decorah 93-58. Morgan Rohweder scored 23 as Houston beat GM 79-59. Carson Johnson scored 22 as R-P took down SG 66-34. FCLMC wrestling had a 5-0 week, beating La Crescent/Hokah 61-12, W-K 49-24, Lake City 39-36, LCH again 45-30, and GMLOS 45-30. Caledonia/Houston wrestling beat LC/H 67-6 and Prairie du Chien 33-25, as the Warriors (7-2, 12-12) have gone 12-5 after an 0-7 start. LARP fell to PEM 35-27, but Christian Zibrowski won his 100th match.
