Caledonia’s boys got 22 points from Reid Klug and 21 from Garrett Konz in beating L-A 97-72. The #3 in AA Warriors then beat Mount Horeb 70-59 at the Midwest Players Classic. Klug scored 27 points. Brad King’s Warriors (8-0, 13-2) lead the TRC-East over R-P (6-2, 12-2). Greg Kennedy went for 30 (pts) and 11 (rebs) as FC beat PEM 80-71. Morgan Rohweder scored 27 as Houston beat L-O 61-51. Cam Hungerholt scored 27 in a 60-56 loss to W-K, 26 in the loss to the ‘Canes, and then 22 in a 64-53 win over Schaeffer. Reid Hungerholt added 22 in the win over the Lions. Cam is averaging 24.1 per game. Nick Taylor scored 20 points as Lanesboro topped Schaeffer 49-46. He is averaging 18.2 points and 8.3 rebounds his last six games. Aubrie Klug scored a season-high 37, as #6 in AA Caledonia beat L-A 75-45. Klug then scored 29, as the Warriors beat Hayfield/Schaeffer 68-24. The junior hit 13 threes in the two games. The Warriors (9-0, 15-2) have won seven in a row. They lead Cotter (7-2, 10-6) in the TRC-East. Aubry Boldt scored 32 as Houston beat L-O 78-36. Olivia Yohe hit the go-ahead three with 11.7 left as Houston (6-3, 11-5) beat Lanesboro 46-45. Vaira Merkel hit the game-winner with 0:12 to go as Kingsland beat L/P 48-46. Grace Schroeder scored 26 points as Chatfield topped Pine Island 58-51. C/SG/H gymnast Vivian Kittleson took second on the bars, the balance beam, and the all-around at a dual with PI/ZM, and second on the bars (of 40 girls) at the Holmen Invite.
