Houston’s boys got 27 points from Morgan Rohweder in beating G-E 67-59, then 36 points from the junior on nine made threes in beating L/P 78-53. Their loss on the week was 65-63 in OT to Kingsland (11-3), where Rohweder had 23 points. Knight Jayden Brink hit seven threes and scored 28 to lead all scorers. Rohweder averaged 28.7 PPG over the three games on 20 of 30 made threes! He has 66 made threes this year at a 44% clip. Houston (6-6, 9-7) has won six of eight. Max Erdman had 26 (pts) and 20 (rebs) in a Kingsland 88-70 win over L-O. Camden Hungerholt scored 38 and Reid Hungerholt 21 in defeat. The Knights (10-3, 11-3) trail Southland (9-2, 12-3) atop the SEC-West. Mason Howard scored 26 on eight made threes as Lanesboro beat L-O. C-Hungerholt had 23 in defeat. Howard had 20 more in a Burro win over G-E. Cayden Tollefsrud scored 23 and 22 points respectively but M-C fell to Schaeffer and L/P. Frosh Carson Harstad had 23 points but Chatfield fell to L-A. Caledonia’s girls beat St. Charles and La Crescent/Hokah. Aubrie Klug had 26 versus the Saints, Josie Foster 31 versus the Lancers. The #15 in AA Warriors (10-1, 13-5) and #8 Cotter (10-1, 17-2) are tied atop the TRC-East. Chatfield’s Evy Goldsmith had 26 points in a win over L-A, and 41 points (5-5 threes, 14-17 FGs, 8-9 FTs) in a win over Southland. The senior averaged 28.3 PPG over three games! Lexy Foster scored 25 and Lauren Queensland 24 as GM beat Southland. Foster then had 26 in a win over L-A. GM improved to 7-4, 12-7. Ellie Ekern scored 23 as R-P beat Chatfield for its sixth straight win. Top-ranked Chatfield wrestling (6-0, 11-1) beat GMLOS. Bulldog Colten Gardner notched three pins to take 285-pounds at the Wisconsin Dells Tourney. FCLMC’s Charlotte Ferrie (124) won her weight class at the Century girl’s tourney. Cal/Hou wrestlers Isaac Blocker (139), Tanner Ginther (145), Owen Denstad (152) each went 4-0 at the Bob Swalla duals. LARP wrestling had six duals and Christian Zibrowski went 6-0.
