Caledonia’s boys went 2-1 on the week. Mason King scored 21 and Garrett Konz 20 in a win over L-A. The Warriors (#4 in AA) did lose to Stewartville (#8 in AAA). Team Cal (7-0, 12-3) sits a half game back of La Crescent (8-0, 12-5) in the TRC-East. Winners of 10 of 12, R-P’s boys (4-3, 13-4) went 2-1 including beating St. Charles 103-94! Carson Johnson scored 20 versus the Saints, Dawson Bunke 20 in a win over Lanesboro. Burro Will Harvey had 20 in defeat while Mason Howard scored his 1,000th career point. Howard had 29 versus Schaeffer in a loss a night prior. M-C’s boys (4-5, 6-8) went 2-1. Cayden Tollefsrud scored 35 versus L-O in a win, 28 versus G-E in a loss, 32 versus Postville in a win. He is averaging 29.4 PPG! Reid Hungerholt scored 26 and Camden Hungerholt 21 in losing to M-C. Camden scored 41 in a win over GM. Houston’s boys went 2-1. Morgan Rohweder went for 22 (pts) and 16 (rebs) in a 64-52 OT win over L-O. C-Hungerholt had 26 in defeat. Rohweder scored 31 in win over Chatfield. Carson Harstad had 24 in defeat. Harstad had 26 and Ross Stoehr 21 in a win over Albert Lea, as the Gophers ended a 10-game losing streak. Caledonia’s #13-ranked girls went 2-1 on the week including topping #17 D-E for their tenth win, but losing to #14 Lourdes. Aubrie Klug scored 23 and Josie Foster 21 in a win over L-A. The Warriors (8-1, 11-5) are tied atop the TRC-East with Cotter (8-1, 13-2). Winners of five of six, GM’s girls (6-4, 10-6) went 2-1 including picking up their tenth win. Lauren Queensland had 28 (pts), 9 (rebs), and 9 (asts), Lexy Foster 23, in a win over L-O. Foster topped 1,000 career points. Houston’s Avery Kingsley scored 23 and Aubry Boldt 21 in a win over L-O. Kingsley had 20 each in a win over SA and a loss to Waukon. Houston (7-1, 10-7) trails SG (9-0, 13-2) in the SEC. Jensyn Storhoff authored the game-winning shot with 2.1 seconds to propel Lanesboro over Schaeffer 42-40. Chantle Reiland went for 7 (pts), 10 (rebs), and 11 (asts) in Kingsland’s win over K-W. LARP wrestling went 5-1 on the week, dropping their first dual to #6 in A K-W. Owen Lange (121/127) went 6-0. The S-Eagles are 4-0, 15-1. Fellow TRC-unbeaten and #1 in Class A Chatfield won two duals to improve to 5-0 in the TRC, 10-1 overall. Javier Berg (114) and Kail Schott (189) won titles at the LCWM tourney. GMLOS went 4-2 to improve to 8-8. Colten Gardner (285) went 6-0. Bulldog gal Chloe Hubbard won the 90-pound crown at the Pine Island Invite. Cal/Hou wrestling went 3-0 to improve to 11-16. Owen Denstad is still undefeated, Issac Blocker is on a big win streak. FCLMC’s Cole Sass won 172-pounds at the Eastview tourney and Kane Larson registered his 100th win.
