Cayden Tollefsrud ran for 129 yards and 3 TDs while also returning a kick-off 90-yards for a score as Mabel-Canton ended the regular season by beating AC/G-E 46-20. The senior went over 1,000 yards rushing. The Cougars (4-4, 4-4) are Section 1’s 9-Man’s 6-seed, will play at 3-seed Spring Grove (6-2, 6-2).
SG volleyball got eight aces from Jordis Neeley in beating L/P 3-0. The Lions (12-2, 21-6) are 1A’s 4-seed, will host 13-seed Southland (15-7) or 20-seed Schaeffer (0-19). Torryn Schneider had 21 digs, but R-P volleyball fell to PEM 3-1. The Trojans (4-6, 14-12) at 1A’s 7-seed, will host 10-seed GM (14-12).
Kadence Aarsvold had 25 digs as Kingsland beat Houston 3-0. The Knights (5-9, 8-17) are 1A’s 16-seed, will host 17-seed Houston (4-10, 5-21) in a play-in game.
