Cayden Tollefsrud ran for 209 yards and 3 TDs and Tyler Larson 150 yards and 2 TDs as Mabel-Canton (3-3, 3-3) downed Grand Meadow 38-14. Corbin Ludemann had 154 yards rushing and a TD in defeat. It was M-C’s third straight win after an 0-3 start. Sampson Wilkemeyer accounted for over 200 yards total offense and threw 3 TDs as R-P (2-4, 2-4) won its second straight, 30-7 over Cotter. The Trojans also had a 100-yard rusher (Jonah Bunke) and 100-yard receiver (Domanick Corcoran).

Third-ranked Caledonia volleyball came back from down 2-1 to beat #8 in AA Z-M 3-2 (24-26, 25-18, 16-25, 25-20, 15-9). Logan Koepke (21 kills, 22 digs), Aubrie Klug (22 digs), and Emma Rommes (39 assists) had big matches. Jenna Olson had 34 assists while Brooke Jasper, Benita Nolt, and Kaci McKenzie all had 10-plus kills as L-O beat Kingsland 3-1.

The Cardinals then swept Houston. Grand Meadow posted 3-0 sweeps of G-E and Schaeffer Academy to run their win streak to six matches. The Larks (9-2, 12-7) lead the Cardinals (8-3, 13-7) in the SEC-West.

Tayler Helgemoe had 17 kills and six ace blocks, Ava Drazkowski 31 assists and 20 digs, as R-P beat Southland in five sets. It was the Trojans’ tenth win.

Alyssa Britton had 12 kills and 6 aces as #7 in A FC (7-1, 16-5) swept St. Charles 3-0.

The Falcons trail #4 in AA Chatfield (7-0, 16-2) and are tied with #3 Caledonia (6-1, 17-2) in the TRC standings.

Ellie Howard had 21 digs, as Lanesboro won its fifth straight by sweeping Schaeffer 3-0. Howard (29 digs), Jensyn Storhoff (14 kills, 20 digs, 5 aces), and Claire Keasling (37 assists) all had big games, but Lanesboro (7-4, 14-6) fell 3-2 to Southland. Lanesboro was down 0-2 in the contest.

Chatfield’s Charlotte Oeltjen notched her highest finish ever, second, at the Gophers home cross country meet.
