Chatfield’s girls fell to #8 Goodhue 80-53 in a 1AA quarterfinal, as Wildcat sophomore Elisabeth Gadient had 31 points. The Gophers finish at 19-9. Caledonia’s girls fell to Lourdes 52-35 in another 1AA quarterfinal. Caledonia finishes at 17-11. Houston’s girls fell 67-29 in a 1A quarterfinal to #3 Hayfield. The Hurricanes (16-12) posted their fifth straight winning season after having zero prior. Jayce Kiehne had 20 points in an FC 78-70 loss to Lyle/Pacelli in a 1A Round of 16 game. FC trailed 48-26 at halftime but came back to lead 64-63. Mason Howard had 21 points, but Lanesboro’s boys fell 75-53 to Southland in a 1A Round of 16 game. The Burros finish at 16-11. Levi Royston had 21 points, but L-O fell to Randolph 83-63 in a 1A Round of 16 game. The Cardinals finish at 16-11.
