Lanesboro football (#3 in 9-Man) stayed perfect with a 54-13 win over Kingsland. Seth Semmen, Orion Sass, and J.T. Rein combined to rush for nearly 400 yards in the game. The Burros (5-0, 5-0) lead the South-East. Houston football (1-4, 1-4) got its first win by beating L/P 12-6 in double OT. Mabel-Canton got 116 yards rushing and 2 TDs from Cayden Tollefsrud, as the Cougars (2-2, 3-2) beat Madelia 45-8. Caledonia football fell to Goodhue 39-33 in triple OT. Chatfield volleyball won the Pine Island Tournament, beating Lake City 2-0 (25-16, 25-21) in the finals. More coverage of this next week. The Gophers went 6-1 on the week. They are 6-1, 16-6 overall. Came was tied 7-7 at halftime. Warriors led 13-7 after three. Wildcats then scored 14 straight points, taking a 21-13 lead. Doyle hit Koepke for a 30-yard TD pitch and catch.
