Spring Grove/Mabel-Canton’s Siri Konkel had a point-assist double-double (15 pts, 10 asts) as the Lions beat St. Charles 69-32. SG/M-C (5-1, 8-2) leads the SEC over Southland (4-1, 6-1) and Lanesboro (4-1, 6-3). Caledonia’s girls, ranked #6 in Class AA, fell in two big games, losing a state quarterfinal re-match with Minnehaha Academy 55-54 and to Wisconsin’s D-III #4-ranked La Crosse-Aquinas 57-41. Aubrie Klug had 25 points in the loss to MHA. The Warriors (5-0, 7-3) lead the TRC-East over Cotter (3-1, 5-4) and R-P (2-1, 4-3). GMLOS wrestling went 2-1 at the WEM/JWP triangular, all duals tight. They beat the hosts 40-33 and Blue Earth Area 39-34 while losing to Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial 39-35. Chase Van Hill (121) and Parker Armagost (133/139) each had three pins at the event to lead the Bulldogs.
