Spring Grove then got a double-double (22 pts, 12 rebs) from Devon Williams including two free throws with 12.7 seconds left to prop a 65-61 Lion lead on the Burros in a 65-63 win. Taylor went for 28 (pts) and 13 (rebs) in defeat. He then went for 30 (pts) and 11 (rebs) as Lanesboro rebounded by beating Kingsland 62-32. Nolan Garness scored 23 points as M-C beat L-O 77-44. Reid Hungerholt had 22 in defeat. Carter Glynn scored 21 points as GM beat Schaeffer 74-39. Lanesboro (7-2, 11-3) tops the SEC-East over Mabel-Canton (5-3, 8-5) and SG (6-4, 6-9) while Southland (8-0, 13-1) leads GM (5-2, 9-5) in the SEC-West. Atreyu Florin went for 29 (pts) and 15 (rebs) but Houston fell to Schaeffer 75-53. He then had 21 (pts) and 25 (rebs) in a 53-47 win over Kingsland. Cayden Lea scored 21 points as R-P topped M-C 76-46. Isaac Underbakke had 22 in defeat. Grant King scored 26 points but Caledonia fell to Onalaska 78-54. The Trojans (6-2 ,12-3) and Caledonia (5-2, 8-6) trail Cotter/HL (6-1, 13-3) atop the TRC-East. FC’s Rylan Ristau scored 20 points but GM used a late run to top the Falcons 56-50. Kyla Hellickson scored 21 points as FC girls topped W-K 59-33. Kinley Soiney scored 24 points and grabbed her 1,000th career rebound, and Siri Konkel added 21 points. as SG/M-C topped L-O 79-47. The Lions also beat La Crescent/Hokah 52-40. Jorja Meyer had 10 points and 20 rebounds as Houston won its fourth straight, beating Kingsland 54-28. Southland (7-1, 12-2) and SG/M-C (7-1, 12-3) top the SEC with Lanesboro (6-1, 10-5) and Houston (5-2, 8-8) following. Gracie Foster scored 20 as GM beat W-K 49-45 for the Larks’ first win. FCLMC’s Teagann Stoen (90-pounds) was the sole area A-division champion (four falls) at the Pine Island Tourney.
