Funeral services for Harold Harvey will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy, Minn., with Rev. Herman Bakker officiating. Visitation will be held 3-5 p.m. Monday May 27, 2024, at the Hindt Funeral Home in LeRoy, Minn., and will continue for 1 hr prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at the LeRoy Cemetery at a later date.
Harold Harvey, age 85, of LeRoy, Minn., died Sunday May 19, 2024. He was born February 26, 1939, in Dexter, Minn., to Herbert and Ruth (Drake) Harvey. Harold was united in marriage to Bonnie Malcomson on February 21, 1959 at the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy. Following their marriage they lived in Preston, Minn. They later moved to a farm near Hammond, Minn., where they farmed for a short period of time before moving to a farm south of Spring Valley, Minn., where they continued to farm until 1986 when they moved into LeRoy, Minn. Harold also drove truck for over 30 years. He enjoyed playing cards, deer hunting, riding horse, playing softball, bowling, and golfing in his younger years. He also enjoyed going to lots of horse shows over the years.
He is survived by his daughter Pam (Tom) Stevens of Grand Meadow, Minn., grandchildren Zach (Cassie) Harvey, Lisa Harvey, Marjia Larimer, Jamie (Spencer) Cuccio, Michael, Alexander and Emily Stevens; great-grandchildren Cooper, Zoey and Elizabeth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bonnie on November 04, 2018, sons David and Mike, daughter-in-law Wanda Harvey, granddaughter Zarah, and his brother Dennis.
