Non-Conference Golf (4/17 & 4/18) 

(Girls) Stewartville Tourney (Byron (333) topped Caledonia (387) for the team title of eight complete squads. Chatfield (421) took fifth and Lanesboro (428) sixth. Hayfield, St. Charles, Stewartville, and Kasson-Mantorville also competed. Byron’s Calie Dockter (78) topped teammate Natalie Appel (84) and Hayfield’s Carly Bronson (84) for the individual title. Caledonia freshman Jazzlyn Hauser (87) tied for sixth while teammate Hayden Harms (92) tied for ninth place. Chatfield’s Mya Henry (88) took eighth place and teammate Taylor Ask (99) took 15th. Lanesboro’s top finisher was Ellie McCabe (95) in 11th place. The event was held at Willow Creek Golf Course and 41 girls competed. There was also a boy’s tourney, but because it was rescheduled per weather, no “Journal-covered” team competed.) 

(B and G) Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa Tourney (Chatfield’s boys (336) took fourth behind Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa (296), Stewartville (313), and Lourdes (324) with a second PIZM team and PEM also competing. Stewie’s Austin Walker (67) topped Lourdes’ Colton Rich (68) for the team title. Chatfield’s Carson Harstad (75) took sixth place and teammate Gage Bartels (86) tied for 15th. Thirty-six boys competed. PIZM’s girls (340) topped Lourdes (386) with Chatfield (407) taking third. Stewartville, PEM, and Cannon Falls also competed. PIZM had the top three, Anna Cylkowski (82), Neva Anderson (84) and Cora Anderson (85). Mya Henry (94) tied for seventh and Taylor Ask (96) tied for 10th place for the Gophers. Thirty girls competed.
