Kingsland’s Shelby Beck looks to pass amidst the defense of Lanesboro’s Kaci Ruen (#43) and Jessie Schreiber (#11). The Knights (5-0, 7-1) and the Burros (3-1, 5-3) battled, but Kingsland came away three points better (50-47) in a key cross-divisional game.

Cotter 76, Caledonia 71 in OT (Cal: S. Treptow 25 pts; A. Privet 20 pts (six threes); Paige Klug 9 pts (three threes); Jovial King 8 pts. Cot: Olivia Gardner 18 pts. Caledonia led 39-25 at halftime, but Ramblers tied it 63-63 at end of regulation. Ramblers won OT 13 to 8. Cotter hit 11 threes, Cal 10. Cotter won at free throw line 17 of 24 to 11 of 15. Ramblers are 5-2)

La Crescent/Hokah 52, Rushford-Peterson 60 (R-P: K. Ruberg 27 pts (12-20 FGs), 8 rebs; Tayler Helgemoe 8 pts; Emarie Jacobson 7 pts, 14 rebs, 4 asts. Trojans knock off Lancers, who beat Caledonia 53-49, who beat R-P 68-30)

Caledonia’s Ava Privet offloads a pass as Fillmore Central’s Madison Simon defends in the teams TRC contest. The Warriors handled FC to post an 89-56 win. Caledonia went 2-1 on the week, only dropping an OT game to Cotter. The Warriors are 4-3.

PEM: Abigail O’Reilly 21 pts. PEM’s Pressley Newcomb hit a three with 0:30 left in regulation to tie the game. The teams each scored just two points in OT. PEM out-scored Chatfield 13-8 in double OT for the win. The Bulldogs out-rebounding the Gophers was a key to the loss. Chatfield > 2-2, 6-2)

Southeast Conference

Mabel-Canton 38, Spring Grove 45 (SG: A. McHugh 21 pts (3-7 threes), 7 rebs. M-C: Kinley Soiney 12 pts, 9 rebs, 3 asts; Hope Erickson 11 pts, 14 rebs; Camryn Cox 9 pts, 8 rebs. The Lions were not caught after opening the second half with a 9-3 run. SG shot 17 of 44 (39%) to M-C’s 15 of 50 (30%). Threes: SG 4-15, MC 3-12. FTs: SG 5-20, MC 5-15)
