After a nail-biting 25-18 overtime win in week one over TRC rival Rushford-Peterson, Caledonia had much less drama in blanking St. Charles in a week two Southeast-Yellow football affair. The defense pitched a shutout and harvested five interceptions, one each from Jacob Klug, Tyson Ginther, Oliver Stemper, Colin Stemper, and Bo Knutson. The offense scored three touchdowns in each of the first two quarters to build a 41-0 lead. The final was 55-0. Offensively, Chase Hauser (8-132 rushing) ran for three touchdowns, Grant King (8 of 13, 139 yards) threw for three touchdowns, and Knutson (13-95, 2 TDs rushing, 32-yard TD reception) accounted for three total scores. Coby Hammell (4-69 receiving) and Ginther (20-yard TD reception) caught the other two touchdowns. Cooper Allen was credited with a team-high 10 total tackles. After two weeks, the Warriors (2-0, 2-0) share the Southeast-Yellow lead with Dover-Eyota (2-0, 2-0), which beat Chatfield in week two. The Gophers (1-1, 1-1), Rushford-Peterson (1-1, 1-1), Triton (0-1, 1-1), Lourdes (0-1, 0-2), and the Saints (0-2, 0-2) round out the standings.
