On July 21, Stacy Dean Roney, 54, with no current address, appeared before District Court Judge Jeremy Clinefelter. Roney is charged with Dangerous Weapons – Discharge of Firearm Within a Municipality, a felony with a maximum criminal penalty of two years in jail and or a $5,000 fine. On or about June 18, within Spring Valley, a Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched regarding a man shooting a gun in town. The officer found Roney who had allegedly been shooting at a tree (near a bike trail). Roney’s blood alcohol was later allegedly tested at .276.
