On April 5, Amber Marie Erickson appeared before District Court Judge Matthew J. Opat. Erickson, 34 of Preston, is charged with Domestic Assault – By Strangulation, a felony with a maximum criminal penalty of three years in prison, a $5,000 fine, or both. On or about April 4, within Preston, the defendant allegedly assaulted a family or household member by strangulation.
