FC volleyball notched a nice week, sweeping two TRC’s foes to stay a top club in the conference.  FC first trekked and beat L-A 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-15).  Lauren Mensink (8 kills, 22 assists, 12 digs), Maddie Krage (10 kills), and K.J. Corson (18 digs) led the way.  Hadley Yoder (6 kills, 3 aces), Kammry Broadwater (6 kills), Alyssa Britton (6 kills), Ashlyn Simon (9 digs), and Hope Sexton (8 digs) helped.  R-P then came to Preston Middle School gym.  The story was the senior Krage, who the Trojans couldn’t stop.  Maddie K. had 19 kills on .354 hitting in a three-set Falcon sweep (25-15, 25-15, 25-15).  The high-jumping 5’5” hitter had six kills in game one and eight in game two.  R-P as a team had less kills (17) total than Krage (19).  Mensink (4 kills, 33 assists), Yoder (9 kills, 17-19 serving, 2 aces) and Corson (24 digs) were big help.  Sexton (12 digs) and Marissa Topness (8 digs) aided the cause.  Kaylee Ruberg (7 kills, 12 digs) and Alyvia Eide (17 digs) led the Trojans with help from Lakyn Rasmussen (5 kills), Elly Malone (12 digs), and Isabelle Kakoun (7 assists, 7 digs).  Winners of three straight, FC (5-1, 5-1), Chatfield (4-1, 4-1), Cotter (3-1, 3-1), and PEM (2-1, 3-2) all have one loss in the TRC (Minnesota-scores.net).  R-P fell to 2-3, 2-4.
