Edward polish obituary, Fillmore County Journal

Edward T. Golish, 65, of Spring Valley, Minn., died on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at his home. 

Edward Golish was born on January 28, 1957, in Winona, Minn. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. He had a deep love for his pets. Edward was a handy man who was able to “MacGyver” anything together using hot glue and duct tape.

Edward is survived by his girlfriend Georgia Sarazin of Spring Valley, children Amy (John) Vangness of Rochester, Minn., Mike (Laura) Golish of Byron, Minn., and Andrew (Ali) Golish of Wilsonville, Oreg.; grandchildren Drake Vangness, Daniel Vangness, Bethany Vangness, and Brooke Golish; mother Sarah Golish-Turnmire of Rochester, Minn., brother Arlie Golish of Spring Valley and sister Priscilla Koenig of St. Charles, Minn.; a nephew and four nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father Clifford Golish, step-father Lenny Turnmire, and Rolland Campbell.

Funeral services for Edward will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley, with Pastor Joe Haynes officiating. Burial will follow at Cherry Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. A time of food and fellowship will be held at the VFW Hall in Spring Valley following the burial.
