Dawn Vogen obituary, Fillmore County Journal

Dawn Joanne Vogen, age 74, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Isenberg in Rochester, of a lengthy illness.

Dawn was born May 21, 1950, in Lanesboro, Minn., to Allen and Olive Vogen. She graduated from Lanesboro High in 1968.

Dawn worked at Rush Products, and then Pace Dairy in Rochester until she retired. She loved golfing, the Vikings, bowling and traveling.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Dawn is survived by her sister Sheila Vogen and brother Craig (Diane) Vogen, nephew Adam Hungerholt, nieces Stacy (Jayson) Johnson, Carissa and Brooke, and Lisa (Chris) Price and Cheston.

There will be a celebration of life for Dawn at the Lanesboro Legion on January 18 from 1-4 p.m.

    We will miss Dawn on Tuesday night ladies golf. Loved visiting with her while she patiently waited for DD to get there! RIP Dawn

    Yes, I golfed with her and she was magnificent at it. She was super friendly and will be dearly missed! All the best to her family during this time.

    Dawn was such a pillar to the Lanesboro community. Her willingness to help others whether at the Legion, golf course or community events went above and beyond. I will miss golfing with her and listening to her comments ( pick it up that’s good) 😊
    My sympathies to all her family.

    I have wonderful memories with Dawn from the Rhine River Cruise and playing golf with her. My sympathy to her family.
