Darrell Dean Egge

Darrell Egge obituary, Fillmore County JOurnal

Darrell Dean Egge, born on August 24, 1951, in Lanesboro, Minn., passed away on December 14, 2025, at Gundersen Harmony Care Center, Harmony, Minn. He was 74 years old.

Darrell grew up in Lanesboro and attended Lanesboro Public Schools. His early years in this close-knit community laid the foundation for a life rooted in family, friends, and connection to his hometown.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Natasha Egge and his son Jeremy Egge. Darrell also leaves behind a grandson, James Egge. His memory will be cherished by his siblings: Barbara (Russell) Felsch, Duane (Linda) Egge, Joan (Mike) Hoffman, Dale (Samia) Egge, and Jean (Donny) Brink.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents Byron and Juliette Egge.

A memorial service will be held on January 3, 2026, with visitation at 1 p.m. and service following at 2 p.m. at Mengis Funeral Home, 301 Maple St., Mabel Minnesota. A spring burial will be held at the Lanesboro Cemetery.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
