Caledonia’s boys took on tough competition, losing to West Salem 93-79, beating #3 in AA Pequot Lakes 59-55 in overtime at the Target Center, then losing to #2 in AA Belle Plaine 78-76 as a part of the Southern Minnesota Hoop Festival (at Mayo High School). Boys Basketball: Three Wins Runs Trojans Win Streak to Five  Rushford-Peterson’s boys downed Baldwin-Woodville and TRC foe Fillmore Central at their home holiday tourney, and got a good Class AA win over Lake City at the Southern Minnesota Hoops Festival, to improve their win streak to five. Girls Basketball: Falcons Top Trojans in Frenzied Overtime Game In an excellent girls basketball contest, FC took on R-P at the Trojans’ 3-Coops Holiday hoops tourney. Wrestling: Teams Excel at Bi-State Chatfield’s boys and girls, LARP’s boys and girls, and Caledonia/Houston’s boys wrestling teams all trekked to La Crosse for the 43rd annual Bi-State tourney featuring a hoard of top teams and top wrestlers from Minnesota and Wisconsin.
