W-K Gallup (LARP’s boys took 4th, Kingsland 9th (of 9).  L. Four of five county volleyball squads to open the season on August 23 came out winners.  Kingsland got 39 combined kills from the Buchholtz sisters in beating Schaeffer 3-1.  Lauren had 25 (kills) and 18 (digs).  Ellie had a triple-double-plus (14 kills, 12 assists, 15 digs, 6 aces).  Madison Scheevel had 32 assists and 18 digs, K.J. Holst is NCAA National Champion
