Gopher Softball Claims 5th West Title
Earlier in the year, Chatfield softball pitchers Lexi Chase and Carlie Berge surrendered zero earned runs (one run period), over a three game span. To close out the regular season, the duo surrendered just one run over five games. Jerry Chase’s Gophers ended the season with a five win, four shut-out, home-stand. Hambone Gets M-C Softball 2-Seed
It wasn’t a fast start to the season. Coming off two fine seasons, M-C softball started this year 5-5. The Cougars have lost just once (to now #1 Carlton 5-4). For over a calendar year, they can claim they are undefeated. In their first year in the Southeast, Dakotah Rostad’s GMLOK baseball team ran the gamut. They didn’t lose a league game.
