Gophers Ride Ends in Austin, Again
Someday, Chatfield softball will make it to state. It they want to do so with star pitcher Lexi Chase, it’ll have to be next year. Gopher Softball Claims 5th West Title
Earlier in the year, Chatfield softball pitchers Lexi Chase and Carlie Berge surrendered zero earned runs (one run period), over a three game span. To close out the regular season, the duo surrendered just one run over five games. Jerry Chase’s Gophers ended the season with a five win, four shut-out, home-stand. Hambone Gets M-C Softball 2-Seed
It wasn’t a fast start to the season. Coming off two fine seasons, M-C softball started this year 5-5. The Cougars have lost just once (to now #1 Carlton 5-4).
