Boys Basketball: Trojans Test #1 Goodhue, Fall in Quarters
Rushford-Peterson executed its game plan. Methodically, they ran their sets to get shots for their top shooters and playmakers. Boys Basketball: Bunke’s Three Propels R-P Over Cal in OT
Rushford-Peterson and Caledonia have had a rivalry over the years in boys basketball. The Warriors have won more often as of late, but R-P (5-4, 11-10) has given Caledonia (9-1, 10-10) trouble here and there. Collaborative trail to R-P school
Derek Olinger, Rushford city engineer from Bolton & Menk, presented a trail proposal to the Rushford-Peterson School Board at their first meeting of the year on January 23. Basketball: Trojans Host 3-Coops Tourney
Rushford-Peterson hosted a six school boys/girls holiday basketball shindig which also featured Spring Grove. The Trojans, Lions, Dawson-Boyd, Higher Ground Academy, Annandale, and West Lutheran competed. Joe Hatch’s Trojan girls got back to .500 with a couple wins. R-P downed West Lutheran handily, 67-30. 2022-2023 Wrestling Preview
Last season was again a strong year on the wrestling mats. Chatfield was one win away from the 1A title, and finished as section runner-up (15-2). They sent four guys to state.
