Boys Basketball: Cougars Post Three-Win Week Against opponents from far and wide, Mabel-Canton boys basketball posted a three-win week. Hosting the furthest opponent (to the north), Faribault B.A. on Monday, M-C trailed 40-39 in the second half before they had an 18-3 run to lead 57-43. The spurt keyed a 70-60 victory. Much of the December 16 Mabel-Canton School Board meeting was tied to the upcoming building project at the school. Superintendent Gary Kuphal explained a request to approve a bid from Wells Concrete of $630,325 for precast walls.
