Cross Country: TRC Meet Sees Cotter Boys Return Favor, Kivimagi Take Second

Just days after LARPH’s boys nipped Cotter’s guys by one point at the PEM cross country invite, the squads again butted heads at the TRC Meet. The Ramblers avenged their loss, downing LARPH 38 to 41. Football: Lions Hang on Late, Edge Hurricanes, 20-18

Visiting Spring Grove scored their first three times with the ball, never trailed, and led 20-6 at halftime, before holding on late to hold off Houston, 20-18, in a game that ultimately came down to extra points. Cross Country: LARPH Boys Top Cotter 45 to 46 at PEM Invite

Houston Enrollment Numbers

Superintendent Mary Morem reported this year’s enrollment numbers to the school board at their regular meeting October 5. The elementary school pre-school to sixth grade has 201 students, down about seven from last year. The 7-12th grade high school remains steady at 231.
