State Individual Wrestling: Rowland Grabs Title as 10 Area Athletes Place
Nineteen total athletes (13 guys, six gals) from Chatfield, FCLMC, Caledonia/Houston, LARP, and GMLOS took on the state individual wrestling tourney. Boys Wrestling: 13 Qualify for State Headed by Nine Gophers
At the 1A individual meet, section team champion Chatfield continued its excellent season by qualifying nine guys for state. LARP and FCLMC each got one entrant. Wrestling: Chatfield Exorcizes Past Shortfalls, Romps to Section Title
The team section tournament has not been a pleasurable experience for Chatfield wrestling lately. In 2020, the Gophers fell to GMLOS 36-35 in the 1A semis after beating the Bulldogs in the regular season. GMLOS won the section title.
