Girls Basketball: #10 Warriors Run Win Streak to Five Caledonia’s girls continued their dominance of TRC competition with wins over Dover-Eyota at home and Lewiston-Altura on the road. West Salem 139.825, Caledonia/Spring Grove/Houston 131.725 (Harper Myrah, fourth among 15 in all-around, was third on parallel bars and had the team’s highest score of 9.1 while placing fourth on balance beam, also fourth both on vault and on floor. LARP’s Carter Bronk and GMLOS’ Cael Smith get physical in a 145-pound match at the Screamin’ Eagles’ quadrangular. Wrestling: LARP Posts Seven-Win Week Including Topping #3 K-W LARP wrestling continued their strong season with seven dual wins in eight tries including sweeping a triangular and a quadrangular at home. Caledonia Area Public School’s board members met Tuesday, January 20 at Caledonia Elementary School in room #162. Caledonia’s girls basketball beat PEM 81-54 and St. Charles 72-39. Aubrie Klug scored 39 versus the Bulldogs and 29 versus the Saints. Basketball: Around the Horn Hoops It was a week of basketball games between area teams. LeRoy-Ostrander and Lanesboro had a boys/girls series, as did Fillmore Central and Chatfield, Spring Grove (SG/M-C) and Grand Meadow, Houston and L-O.
