Brian Jonathan Pierce, age 64, of Cook, Minn., passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, at Essentia Hospital in Duluth.

Brian was born on March 25, 1961, in Rochester, Minn. He was the son of Myron and Mary Pierce of Spring Valley, Minn. Brian was baptized and confirmed at St. Ignatius Church in Spring Valley.

On December 16, 1983, Brian was united in marriage to Lisa Volkart at St. Ignatius Church in Spring Valley. Brian enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers.  Most of all, Brian enjoyed being with his family and spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren.

Brian is survived by his wife Lisa, his children and grandchildren: Seth (Kristine) Pierce {Ava, Aleah and Jonathan} of Hector; Jessab (Jamie) Pierce {Noah, Ella, Creedence and Sullivan} of St. Cloud; Zachary (Amber) Pierce {Buxton} of Hector; Nathanael Pierce of Cook, Bridget Pierce of Chokio, and Elijah (Alyssa) Pierce {Maverick} of Buffalo Lake; father Myron Pierce of Spring Valley, sisters: Tammy Pierce of Grand Meadow, Kelly (Rusty) Hellickson and Shanan Pierce, both of Spring Valley; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother Mary Pierce, his sister Paula Lange, and his nephew Hunter Rollie.

A celebration of life will be held on October 4, 2025, at the community center in Spring Valley, Minn., from 1-5 p.m. Cards can be sent to Lisa at 11228 Highway 22, Cook, MN 55723.
