Three Rivers Conference Boys Basketball (12/12 – 12/15)

Chatfield 55, Wabasha-Kellogg 59 (C: B. Fretland 14 pts (4-8 threes); Carson Harstad 13 pts; Ross Stoehr 13 pts (5-9 FGs), 6 rebs. Game started with back-to-back 10-0 runs. The Gophers shot 23 of 47 (49%). Chatfield then led by 13 in the second half (about 10:00 left) but could not close it out. It is their third straight loss after holding second half leads))

La Crescent/Hokah 92, Fillmore Central 49 (FC: Luke Hellickson 13 pts, 9 rebs; Josh Haugerud 13 pts)

Chatfield 52, St. Charles 67 (C: B. Fretland 21 pts (6-11 threes), 4 asts; Cole Novotny 9 pts; Tobin McMahon 8 pts. Gophers > 0-3, 1-5)

#14 in A Rushford-Peterson 64, La Crescent/Hokah 72 (RP: D. Bunke 23 pts (1-13 threes), 13 rebs, 5 stls; Landon Dahl 9 pts; Carson Johnson 8 pts; Cole Thompson 8 pts. Trojans were 4 of 31 from deep (13%) but had just four turnovers)

Cotter 63, Fillmore Central 43 (FC: L. Hellickson 18 pts (3-8 threes), 8 rebs; Greg Kennedy 11 pts. Falcons had 34 turnovers and are still without All-TRC guard Jayce Kiehne. FC > 0-3, 1-3)

Schaeffer Academy 46, LeRoy-Ostrander 71 (LO: C. Hungerholt 40 pts (3-9 threes, 17-32 FGs), 7 rebs, 5 stls; Reid Hungerholt 15 pts, 5 rebs, 4 stls)

Southland 58, Houston 34 (H: M. Rohweder 20 pts (6-12 threes))

Cotter 49, Lanesboro 31 (L: M. Howard 11 pts (4-5 FTs); W. Harvey/Caden Johnson 8 pts. Lanesboro was 1 of 15 from deep (7%) in posting their lowest offensive out-put since 2020-2021 versus Southland in the play-offs (68-30))

Rochester STEM Academy 41, Chatfield 74 (C: C. Novotny 14 pts; B. Fretland 12 pts; Ryan Rindels 12 pts; R. Stoehr 11 pts; Callen Backer 6 pts, 10 rebs; Aiden Johnsrud 8 pts. Gophers picked up first win)

Caledonia 71, Sioux City-Bishop Heelan 67 (C: R. Klug 35 pts (five threes); M. King 19 pts (three threes). Caledonia played this special game at Bishop Heelan, which is coached by Warrior 1997 graduate Andy Foster)

Caledonia 63, Waverly-Shell Rock 75 (C: Lewis Doyle 17 pts; M. King 16 pts (four threes); E. Stendel 10 pts; R. Klug 10 pts. A night after playing in Sioux City, Iowa, Warriors took part in the Decorah Border battle, suffering first loss (2-0, 4-1))

Faribault B.A. 48, #14 in A Rushford-Peterson 81 (R-P: D. Bunke 25 pts (6-11 threes); Car. Johnson 16 pts (6-9 FGs), 5 rebs, 5 asts; Creighton Hoiness 10 pts. Ten Trojans scored. R-P > 0-2, 4-2)

Lanesboro 45, MFL Mar Mac 68 (L: M. Howard 22 pts (4-9 threes). The halftime score was 32-30 Burros, but they got out-scored 38-13 after halftime. Burros > 1-2, 1-4)
