Turnovers were key, as B.A. had 23, M-C just six. Russ Larson’s Cougars thus held a 20-1 points-off-turnovers advantage. Kale Eiken (18 pts, 7-10 FTs) and Nolan Garness (17 pts, 5-7 threes) led the way scoring-wise. Isaac Underbakke went for 8 (pts), 8 (rebs), 11 (asts), and 5 (stls). M-C shot 52% overall (34 of 66) and a particular strong 63% from two-point range (31 of 51).
