With 0:02 seconds left on the first half clock, trailing … [Read more...]

It was a good year to be Knight football fan. A 6’2” 230-pound senior running back named Matt Kolling was a beast to tackle, Trenton Hyland was the QB, and Kingsland ripped to a 14-0 record including wins over Triton in the state semifinals and Breckinridge 22-3 in the Class B state championship game. The year was 1995. That was the last time a Kingsland football … [Read more...]

Kristi Rindels’ … [Read more...]

Volleyball: #2 Cougars Finish Out Perfect SEC Loop, Dominate Showcase
It is about that time of year. It is about the time when Mabel-Canton volleyball finishes out its SEC schedule perfect and beats whoever the West has in the East-West Showcase contest. Only once in the last 10 years has that not happened; 2021 when GM won the Showcase. Lonnie Morken’s Cougars ended the SEC regular season by handling Southland 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-11). It was … [Read more...]

Caledonia jumped out 8-2 but FC … [Read more...]
