Trojans Match Season-High Streak
It was a 2-0 week for R-P boys basketball. Tom Vix’s group first handled FC. After an early feeling out period, R-P dissected the Falcons’ 1-3-1 zone, scoring on 12 of 14 possessions. Lanesboro’s girls ended a 13-game losing skid by beating G-E 49-27. R-P’s girls ended an 8-game skid by beating L-O. Lauren Lawston had career-highs in points (26), rebounds (14), and steals (7). Knights Run County TRC Gauntlet
Fillmore County boasts four TRC schools. Kingsland’s basketball teams have now swept the other three. Knight squads beat Chatfield and R-P in December.
