The All Three Rivers Conference boys wrestling list includes 11 Chatfield Gophers, six Caledonia/Houston Warriors, four LARP Screamin’ Eagles, four GMLOS Bulldogs, and two FCLMC Wolves. For the conference, section, and state champion 21-1 Gophers, Jameson Priebe (8th grader, 107, 34-17), Javier Berg (junior, 114, 41-6), Kaisen Johnson (sophomore, 121, 32-13), Hunter Polikowsky (8th grader, 127, 27-15), Gage Bartels (senior, 133, 38-9), Jack Dornack (senior, 145, 37-13), Carson Rowland (junior, 152, 44-9), Ben Carrier (junior, 160, 33-14), Ayden Miner (junior, 172, 33-11), Kail Schott (senior, 189, 34-3), and Miles Mulhern (senior, 285, 39-11) are honored. Priebe, Rowland, and Mulhern each won at every TRC dual (9-0). Bartels (8-0), Miner (8-0), Berg (7-0), Carrier (7-0), and Schott (5-0) did not lose a TRC match. Bartels, Rowland, and Schott each earned their fourth All-TRC nod. Berg earned his third. Carrier, Dornack, Miner, and Johnson each earned their second. Rowland (first), Berg (second), Schott (third), and Bartels (fourth) placed at state while Johnson, Dornack, Carrier, Miner and Mulhern qualified. Schott finished his career with 161 wins, Bartels with 121, and Dornack with 98. Polikowsky and Priebe took third at sections. For the Warriors, Aiden Burns (sophomore, 107, 38-12), Braxton Lange (junior, 133, 39-12), Isaac Blocker (senior, 139, 45-11), Owen Denstad (senior, 145, 51-1), Tanner Ginther (junior, 152, 21-18), and Aden Kulas (junior, 189, 30-18) made the cut. Denstad went a perfect 9-0 in TRC matches and earned his fourth All-TRC nod. Blocker earned his third. Ginther and Lange each earned their second. Denstad (second) and Blocker (sixth) placed at state, finishing with 197 and 159 career wins respectively. Denstad set the program record. Burns (third), Lange (third), and Kulas (fifth) placed top five at AA-sections. LARP’s four picks were Christian Zibrowski (freshman, 107, 39-9), Owen Lange (freshman, 121, 33-9), Jordan Zibrowski (senior, 139, 28-13), and Zach Plank (junior, 189, 30-12). The Zibrowski brothers each repeated. C-Zibrowski took fifth at state. Lange (third), Plank (fourth), and J-Zibrowski (fifth) placed at sections. J-Zibrowski finished with 141 career wins. Said group helped LARP to its best team season in years, 19-8. GMLOS’ four picks are Parker Armagost (freshman, 114, 33-15), Cael Smith (8th grader, 127, 38-11), Braxten Wiste (senior, 160, 40-10), and Colton Gardner (senior, 285, 30-16). Gardner (third), Wiste (fourth), Armagost (fourth), and Smith (fourth) placed at sections. Wiste finished with 131 career wins. FCLMC’s two picks are Kane Larson (sophomore, 160, 44-6) and Cole Sass (junior, 152). Larson took fifth at state. Sass was 5-0 in TRC matches. Chatfield’s Alden Pearson (junior, 139), Caledonia/Houston’s Cooper Allen (8th grader, 172), LARP’s Carter Cady (junior, 152), Camdyn Anderson (senior, 160), and Titan Tekautz (senior, 145), FCLMC’s Connor Wingert (senior, 139) made All-TRC Honorable Mention. A list of the top girls in the TRC was also comprised. Chatfield’s Emily Bova (sophomore, 100, 16-8), Chloe Berg (senior, 124, 21-7), and Grace Finley (sophomore, 142, 13-6), LARP’s Lauren Honken (senior, 106, 16-6) and Bobbie Wnuk (freshman, 170, 11-9), GMLOS’ Zoe Steinkamp (8th grader, 112, 19-11), Diann Smith (senior, 136, 30-5), Carol Hemann (senior, 155, 12-17), and Kloe Meyer (freshman, 235, 14-10), and FCLMC’s Vivienne Hoeltzle (junior, 118, 22-8), Charlotte Ferrie (7th grader, 130, 20-8), and Katie Whelan (senior, 190, 14-7) topped their weight classes.
