Crestwood Tourney (Chatfield (159) took third and Caledonia/Houston (138) fourth behind Creston (214) and Crestwood (203.5). The Gophers lone champion was Kail Schott (170 > win fall, win 16-1 tech fall, win 10-5 decision). He is 14-4. Campbell Berge (195 > win fall, lose fall to Crestwood’s 20-2 Landon Schemmel), wrestling his first matches, and Caden Nolte (285 > win fall, win fall, lose fall) each took second. Nolte is 10-5. Gage Bartels (113 > win fall, lose 8-4 decision to Crestwood’s 19-2 Cole Schmauss, win fall, win 10-2 major), Ben Carrier (126 > win fall, lose fall, win fall, win fall), Carson Rowland (132 > win 9-1 major, lose 22-10 major to Mason City’s 19-2 Jace Rhodes, win 11-3 major, win fall), Ethan Ruskell (220 > win fall, lose fall, win fall, win fall) took third. Bartels is 16-5, B-Carrier 14-4, Rowland 12-5, and Ruskell 12-6. The Warriors didn’t have a first place finisher, but they had three seconds and five thirds. Owen Denstad (132 > win 13-4 major, win 5-3 decision, lose 11-4 decision to Mason City’s 20-3 Jace Rhodes), Cory Scanlan (152 > win fall, win 6-2 decision, lose fall to Crestwood’s 21-2 Cole Butikofer), and Eric Mauss (182 > win fall, win 12-3 major, lose fall) each took second. Denstad is 20-3, Scanlan 16-5, and Mauss 13-8. Braxton Lange (106 > win 8-4 decision, lose 11-4 decision, win fall, win 10-4 decision), Simon Seymour (120 > win fall, lose 1-0 decision, win fall, win fall), Isaac Blocker (138 > win 9-2 decision, lose 4-3 decision, win 9-3 decision, win 3-1 decision), Tucker Ginther (145 > win 13-4 major, lose 10-3 decision, win fall, win 13-3 major), and Alec Weinbender (170 > win fall, lose fall, win 4-2 decision, win 11-5 decision) each took third. Lange is 15-8, Seymour 17-8, Blocker 23-4, and Ginther 18-3 notably)
