Wayne Clifford Jonsgaard, 60, was born on February 17, 1964, to Eldon D. and Carolyn Jonsgaard of Rushford. He was the oldest of five siblings. He graduated from Lewiston-Altura High School in 1982. He also went to Western Techincal college for an auto machanic degree. He married Karen Gady on November 14, 1992, then later divorced. They had three girls and one stepdaughter.
Wayne was an OTR truck driver for 20 years before losing his health card. He owned and operated his own semi truck. Besides being a driver, his time off the road was spent hunting, fishing and on cars, but spending time with family was very important to him. He always took time to rescue his girls when they had car troubles. Snowmobiling was his favorite pastime. He also enjoyed shooting pool and had many trophies.
He was a son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and a friend. He will be missed.
Wayne is survived by his three daughters: Wynn (John) of Money Creek, Kamera of La Crosse, and LaShonda of Houston; one step-daughter, Carissa of La Crosse; four grandchildren: Abriella, Phoenix, Mable-Jean and Vincent; two sisters, Sandy (Brian) Randall of Utica, and Deanna (Jeremy) Needk of St. Charles; two brothers, Richard (Heather) of Eau Claire, and Craig of Rushford; and his parents Eldon D. and Carolyn Jonsgaard of Rushford.
He was a member of the Rushford Lutheran Church, where there will be a visitation on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, with a prayer service at 6:45.

Well my sympathies are with you and your family members. I can say that when you were quite young you were a very happy, good, and mischievous person. I was blessed with being your babysitter and “hired hand” during your dad’s faming enterprise throughout your adolescent life. May god grant your soul peace and allow you peace in observing your children & grand children’s journey through their lives..
