In the last meet before the True Team event, Chatfield, LFCMC, and RPH track and field teams competed with five others at the St. Charles Invite. The Gophers girls (129) were a headliner, winning the team portion over the Burros (117) and Tro-Canes (109) while the host Saints, Waseca, L-A, and Hayfield also competed. Jeff DeBuhr’s Gophers got firsts from Aletta Strande (1,600 > 12:15.97), Jaelyn LaPlante (High Jump > 4’10”), the 4×100 (51.92 > Savannah Peterson, Lauryn Daniels, Evy Goldsmith, LaPlante), 4×200 (1:51.14 > Peterson, Daniels, LaPlante, Goldsmith), and 4×800 (10:18.15 > Peyton Ellis, Sydney Ellis, Strande, Lexi Kivimagi) teams. L-Kivimagi (1,600) and Peterson (Long Jump) added seconds. Adia Evans (400) and Anna Kivimagi (300-hurdles) took second. P-Ellis (800) added a third. LFCMC got firsts from Kammry Broadwater (800 > 2:31.34, Discus > 115”) and Addie Miner
(Pole Vault > 9’6”). Broadwater (Triple Jump) added a third. Lynsey Ruen (100-hurdles) and Madison Simon (P-Vault) took second. RPH got firsts from Aubryana Boldt (100-H > 16.47, T-Jump > 33’8”) and Brielle Rasmussen (200 > 27.87). Rasmussen (100) added a second. Boldt added two thirds (200, L-Jump). Tayler Helgemoe (H-Jump) took second. Sydney Torgerson had a second (Shot Put) and a third (Discus). The guys side was won by St. Charles (194) over Waseca (131) followed by RPH (120), LFCMC (81), and Chatfield (80). Quintin Betthauser (110-hurdles > 16.63), Dalton Hoel (800 > 2:07.21), and Ryan Prinsen (3,200 > 10:17.95) had firsts for RPH. Hoel (L-Jump) added a fourth. Gregg Gile (T-Jump) took second. Alex Wedl (400, H-Jump) had two thirds and a fourth (T-Jump). Luke Ruen (1,600 > 4:53.87) had the Burros sole first. Sam Springer (300-H) took second. Henry Liew had a second (H-Jump) and a third (T-Jump). Lucas Nikoloski had a second (Discus) and a fourth (Shot). Chatfield’s sole first was the 4×200 (1:35.55 > Isaac Erding, Thad Evans, Eli Hopp, Sam Backer). Alex Rowland (800) took second. Backer (100) and Hopp (200) added thirds. Blake Thompson had a second (Shot) and a fifth (Discus).
