Lewiston-Altura Meet (Wabasha-Kellogg’s girls (111.33) topped La Crescent/Hokah (107), Chatfield (106.33), Lewiston-Altura (95), Dover-Eyota (82.33), and Lourdes (51). D-E’s boys (157) topped Chatfield (149), LC/H (66), L-A (62), Lourdes (58), and W-K (42). For the Gopher boys, Lane Schmaltz took first (Pole Vault > 11’0”) and fourth (100). Ben Peeters (3,200 > 10:51.87) and the 4×400 (Maddex Lanning, Logan Pearson, Schmaltz, Kash McBroom) also took first. Ivar Stavlund (3,200) and the 4×800 (Lanning, Peeters, Jacob Holetz, Iva Stavund) took second. K-McBroom added a second (400) and third (200). Ross Stoehr (110-hurdles, Triple Jump) took second. Lanning (1,600) and Brandt McBroom (300-hurdles) took third. The boys 3,200 and 4×800 had just three competitors/teams, the 110-hurdles four, and the 300-hurdles five. For the Gopher girls, Savannah Peterson took first (200 > 27.34) and second (100). Adeline Schild took first (400 > 1:04.84) and fourth (Long Jump). The 4×800 (11:00.73 > Lexi Kivimagi, Schild, Makynli Ostby, Kylie Sinn) also took first. Kivimagi (800) and the 4×400 (Sophia Goldsmith, Adelia Goldsmith, Kivimagi, Lillie Stejskal) took second. Stejskal added a third (Long Jump) and a fourth place (200). Melody Ward (Pole Vault) took third.)
Stewartville “Glen Amundsen” Meet (GMLOKS’ girls (93) took second to Stewartville (99) ahead of Kasson-Mantorville (67) and Lyle/Pacelli (7). The boys (58) took second to Stewie (126) ahead of K-M (57) and L/P (31). For the GMLOKS boys, junior Tate Goergen won the 400-meter (49.18) and 800-meter races (1:53.6). The 400 time broke a 30-year meet record while the 800 time broke a 31-year-old meet record, each held by Tiger Jason Owen. The 4×100 (3:39.62 > Nathaniel Drees, Carter Glynn, Hunter Hyde, Goergen) also took first. Ethan Schammel (High Jump), Brede Nelsen (Pole Vault), and the 4×200 (Drees, Bently Wiersma, Glynn, Michael Johnson) took second. Wiersma (100, Long Jump) added two third places. Calum Sween (110-hurdles) took third. For the GMLOKS girls, Keira Stier took first (100 > 13.59) and third (200). Kaylie Betts (3,200* > 13:43.06), Breeley Galle (100-hurdles > 16.45), Kloe Meyer (Shot Put > 31’11”), Amelia McCabe (Pole Vault > 9’6”), and the 4×800 (11:01.09 > Anna Imm, Gretchen Hubka, Emma Lewison, Naomi Warmka) took first. Warmka (1,600), Audrey Main (3,200), Avery Payne (P-Vault), and the 4×400 (Brynna Nelson, Lewison, Rylee Holst, Warmka) took second. Lewison (400), Imm (800), Reeyin Lanning (1,600), Caisa Kolling (Discus), and Avery Stroup (P-Vault) took third. *The girls 3,200-meters had just four entrants.)
