Tony C. Vick, 62, of Caledonia, formerly of Mabel, died unexpectedly Sunday, October 1, 2023, at his home.
Tony was born March 12, 1961, in Spring Grove to Gary and Sharon (Dahl) Vick. He attended Mabel-Canton Schools. He had worked at Northern Engraving in Spring Grove for 24 years. He loved working in molding. Until his dying day, he would check molded products to see how they were injected. On July 16, 2005, he married Melissa Wruck in Caledonia. They continued to reside in Caledonia. Tony enjoyed riding and working on his Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed trout fishing in the local creeks, and collecting different items, especially coins. Tony enjoyed reminiscing about the good old days of playing sports and growing up in Mabel, being an Armadillo, being with his kids teaching them how to fish and care for cars. He called his wife daily to remind her how much he loved her and that he was always behind her in any decision. He loved watching his kids grow and cheered them on in whatever they did. He as a die-hard Vikings fan and loved his Budweiser.
Tony is survived by his wife Melissa of Caledonia, children Dylan, Andrew and Alexzander, all of Caledonia, and Abagail Wruck of Fargo; his mother Sharon of Mabel, siblings Tlisa (Gary) Schaefer of LeRoy, Minn., Tim (Jeannie) of Rosemount, Minn., and Mark (Donna) of Copperas Cove, Tex.; and nieces and nephews Adam (Shannah) Badger, Malyk Schaefer, Brayden Schaefer, Corinne (Olaf) Haugen, Ella Vick, Jessica (Trent) Singleton and Hope Vick.
Tony was preceded in death by is father Gary, his grandparents, and an uncle, Randy Bjergum.
A Celebration of Life will be 4–7 p.m., Friday, October 6 at the American Legion Post 299 in Mabel. A private burial will be in the Hesper Public Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family in lieu of flowers.
