Timothy Arnold Kappauf, age 62, of Houston, passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his residence in Looney Valley. He was born January 31, 1963, and preceded in death by his father Arnold, and mother Shirley Kappauf.
He was a member of the Laborer’s Union and spent the last 25 years of his career working for Fowler & Hammer. He loved golf, being out in nature, hunting, fishing, all things Harley Davidson, spending time with his grandchildren, and helping those in need. If you needed help, all you had to do was ask and Tim was there. He was a member of the Looney Valley Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his sister Vicki (Keith), his children Isaac, Jed (Katie), Joe (Erin), and Althea, and six grandchildren: Ethan, Brodie, Caleb, Oliver, Morgan and Arnold. He also leaves behind many other extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services were held at Looney Valley Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 1 at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, June 30 at Hoff Funeral Home in Houston.

Tim was a wonderful guy, would do anything for anyone. My family had a special relationship with him, he would always help my mom (Alma Miller) and sister (Jannie Boldt) all the time. He left us too soon. So glad we (my wife Dawn and I) were able to spend a little time with him and share stories.
