Harmony’s historic grain elevator project in early stages
Ralph Beastrom from the Harmony Area Historical Society updated the Harmony City Council on the historic grain elevator project at the August 13 council meeting. Mavis N. Johnson passed away peacefully August 8, 2019, at the Gunderson Harmony Care Center. Mavis was born December 7, 1927, in rural Lanesboro to Corday and Betsey Thompson. Empty Bowls 2019
The community of Harmony will host its tenth Empty Bowls event this fall on Sunday, November 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Empty Bowls is an International Project to fight hunger. Bowls created by local potters and artisans are used to serve a simple meal of soup and bread. Guests/diners choose a bowl for the meal, which they then take home afterwards. Fillmore Central renovations on track for the summer
