Tabatha Lynn Blexrud left this life and entered eternal rest on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the young age of 54.
Tabatha was born on January 10, 1971, to the Kenneth Gustason and Jane Carrigan. She graduated from Preston-Fountain High School in 1989. In 1992 she graduated as a long-term care nursing assistant.
On July 15, 2006, she married the love of her life, Kevin Blexrud. The two of them, along with her son Lucas lived on a farm east of Canton.
Tabatha had various full and part-time jobs over the years but her greatest success was being a farm wife. During harvest season you would often see her driving her tractor and hauling the grain cart.
Tabatha enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, fishing, gardening, canning, entertaining, and wintering in Mexico.
Tabatha is survived by her husband Kevin, son Lucas, mother Jane, sister Patricia Pierce, sister Lori Larimer (Darwin Kohler) brothers Jim Pierce and brother Ray Pierce (Kelly Kunz), sister-in-law Kathy Panicek (Mark), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and very dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Kenneth and her husband’s parents Kermit and Berle Blexrud.
A celebration of life for Tabatha will be Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 1-4 p.m. at the Preston Servicemen’s Club in Preston, Minn. The Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel is assisting with arrangements.

It probably hadn’t been years since I seen Tabby, and the last time I saw her you walked up to me ask how I was doing, like she does everyone, and gave me the greatest and longest biggest hug. Such a sweet gal. It is true when they say God takes the best. Rest in peace Tabitha. Tons of people are sure going to miss you! 💓🙏
