Steven “T-Bone” Michael Theobald, age 66, of Caledonia, Minn., passed away with his sisters at his side, on September 19, 2025, at Gundersen Harmony Care Center, Harmony, Minn.
T-Bone was born July 19, 1959, in Caledonia to Sylvester “Bing” and Maxine (Hagen) Theobald. He graduated from Caledonia High School in 1977 and married Darla Steele on October 22, 1988, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Caledonia. Darla passed away June 16, 2006.
T-Bone was self-employed as a custom fencer, working in Minnesota and Iowa. He enjoyed snowmobiling, going on train rides, and farming.
He is survived by his sisters Susie (Harold) Heaney, Shari (Charlie) Wiegrefe and Shelley (Wayne) Weber; brothers and sisters-in-law Dan (Brenda) Steele, Terry (Wanda) Steele, Kelly Lager and Cindy Shefelbine (David Sorce); and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother-in-law Dan Lager, mother- and father-in-law Merle and Marie Steele, and two cats, Peter and Paul.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Caledonia. Father Andrew Vogel will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia.
A luncheon will follow. Visitation will be from 10-10:45 a.m. before the service at St. Mary’s Holy Family Hall.
