Spring Grove boys shoot past LeRoy-Ostrander, 74-34

The Spring Grove boys shot a season-high 57%, including a season-best 55% (12 for 22) beyond the 3-point arc while coasting to a 38th consecutive win over visiting LeRoy-Ostrander, 74-34. Both Ben Udstuen and Jaxon Strinmoen had 16 points and 5 rebounds with Strinmoen adding 5 steals. Zach Brumm came off the sideline for a career-high 6 assists. Camden Hungerholt led the Cardinals (6-14, 6-9 SEC) with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 steals. The No. 3-state-ranked Lions improved to 15-1, 12-1 SEC.

The Cards scored first, but the Lions scored the final 17 points of the first half to lead 44-12 at halftime and by as many as 43 points during the second stanza.

The Lion B-team (11-2), with 21 points from Dylan Halverson, dominated the Cardinals, 56-19.
